FIR lodged against 40 people for violating Lockdown

Ahmedabad (Gujrat) VON News- An FIR was lodged against 40 people from Khadai area, for gathering outside their residence on March 22, as section 144 of CrPC is imposed in Ahmedabad said the Police Commissioner, Ashish Bhatia.

The state government on Saturday, decided that Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Vadodra will remain under Lockdown till March 25.

However, food supplies and emergency services will remain open.

Yesterday, as the Prime Minister called, “Janta Curfew” was observed throughout the nation, to fight against coronavirus and to applaud the unsung heroes of our country who are combating the infection 24 hours.
