Safety first, then Olympic: Bajrang Punia

VON News- Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Ace Indian wrestler and Asian Games gold medalist, Bajrang Punia stated that the safety of the athletes should be the topmost priority,

While talking in an Interview, the ace Indian wrestler said ” First of all, we need to fight coronavirus. The situation in the whole world is very critical and having Olympics at this time is a big thing and we don’t know how long will it go?, So, if the Olympics are held after coronavirus is controlled. It will benefit all athletes. So, safety is first and then Olympics.”

The  2020 Olympic, which is going to be held in Tokyo, is having obstacles due to the covid-19 scare.

Earlier, the Canadian Olympic Committee informed that they are not sending their athletes to the forthcoming 2020 Olympic and paralympic games.
