Turkey witnessed its first death from COVID-19

Ankara (Turkey)– The whole world has been paused due to coronavirus outbreak. This infection has taken many lives. Now, Turkey has also made its contribution as it reports its first death on Tuesday due to coronavirus.

Turkish Health Ministry on Tuesday, reported its first death due to coronavirus while 51 additional cases have been diagnosed.The country registered its first positive case of Covid-19 on March 11.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca at a news conference,said the deceased person was 89-year old

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, more than 184,976 people have tested positive with the infection and about 7,529 died so far.as per the latest data available on World Health Organization (WHO) website.
