Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi, Hosts Networking Agent Meet in Dehradun

The event aimed to update travel agents on Thailand’s latest tourism products, emerging destinations, and the benefits of participating in an “incentive program and certification program”

Mrs. Siriges-A-Nong Trirattanasongpo, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, welcome the travel industry partners and stated that Uttarakhand is emerging as a “strong and promising market “for Thailand tourism. With the support of IndiGo Airlines and Spice Jet

The connectivity and demand from the region have expanded significantly, She mentioned that travellers from Dehradun are increasingly exploring destinations “beyond Bangkok”seeking “New experiences and offbeat locations” in Amazing Thailand.

Vaishali Sharma, Marketing Officer of Tourism Authority of Thailand, highlighted new and exciting destinations for Indian travelers. She promoted “Khao Yai, Kanchanaburi, Khao Lak, Koh Lanta, and Koh Lipe”as ideal spots for “relaxing getaways”, while emphasising the growing popularity of “adventurous activities” such as skydiving and hot air balloon rides in “Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai” in northern Thailand.

The event provided travel agents with valuable insights into  “Thailand’s diverse offerings” and the potential for collaboration through the marketing campaigns and incentive and certification programs, aimed at boosting Thailand tourism from the Region.
