On this day, Sachin Tendulkar played his last ODI against Pakistan

VON NEWS– On 18th March 2012, the Master-Blaster of India, Sachin Tendulkar played his last ODI against Pakistan in at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket StadiumMirpur.

Eight years ago on this very day, during the Asia Cup 2012, Sachin played his last ODI International Cricket against Pakistan. Sachin scored 52 runs. India chased the total and won the match. And Sachin marked his 100th ton in the International cricket in 2012 Asia Cup.

With aggregate of 34,357 runs and 6,000 runs more than the second placed former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangarkkara.

He is addressed as one of the greatest cricketer of all time and not only this, he holds the record of being the highest run scorer of all time in International cricket, having notched up 18,426 runs in ODI and 15,921 runs in Test matches.

Sachin bid adieu to Test Cricket on November 16th 2013.
