New Delhi, December 7 : In a lavish praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah said: “The biggest parameter to judge the tenure of any politician is the judicial, social, economic, and administrative changes that take place during his tenure. From this perspective, the history of Modiji’s public life is the highest standard of ideal for any social worker.”
Amit Shah wrote about Modi’s life and PM tenure in a signed message to congratulate Dr. Adish C Aggarwala, ex-chief, Supreme Court Bar Association, and current Chairman, All India Bar Association, on his book, “Modi’s Niti Shastra: The World’s His Oyster”.
The Home Minister described Modi’s tenure as a continuous period of unparalleled transformation in arenas of law, justice, and public welfare. He said: “Whether it is the abrogation of Article 370, freeing the country’s judicial process from colonial slavery through three new criminal justice laws, the abolition of triple talaq, or the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Modiji has shown through his public life how public welfare and respect for heritage can be carried out in parallel.”
The Home Minister further added in message to Dr. Aggarwala who has been Acting Chairman of Bar Council of India, that the book was based on the “vision of public welfare and good governance in the country under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.”
Amit Shah said that Modi’s Niti Shastra, which explores India’s endeavour to set the judicial world ablaze with new, innovative, and path-breaking laws during Modi’s three regimes, “based on his personality, work and philosophy will undoubtedly strengthen the spirit of nation building among the readers.”
The signed message of the Home Minister was issued on Mahaparinirvan Diwas (6 December, 2024), which commemorates the death anniversary, and honours the legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, to mark the new book, Modi’s Niti Shastra that deals with how the hundreds of new laws and amendments, and repealing of thousands of old laws and rules, helped India keep alive her constitutional ideals in the twenty-first century.
