Dehradun Hotel shuts after visitor tested COVID-19 positive

Dehradun VON News- The Four Points Sheraton Hotel, located on Rajpur road, has been shut by the Dehradun District Collector on Saturday, after a female guest was tested positive for coronavirus.

The woman who was lodged here with her husband from March 9 to 11, is a resident of Faridabad, Haryana. During her way back home, it was found that the woman has symptoms of  coronavirus  and later she tested covid-19 positive.

The health department and police teams reached the hotel. After that the hotel was santized and all the rooms were then sealed. The hotel is closed for an indefinite time period. Two police personnel have been deployed outside the hotel.

The Director General, during an interview told that, “the hotel staff has been sent to quarantine. So far only three people have confirmed corona infection in the state. All the necessary precautions are being taken in the state.”

The number of covid-19 cases, in India is increasing constantly.
